T-minus 6 hours
Light breakfast. Long toilet walk. Carrier packed with an absorbent pad, a familiar blanket, and a spare pad in the side pocket.
T-minus 3 hours 30
Arrive at the terminal. Final relief break outside before entering. Carrier stays zipped from this point on.
T-minus 3 hours
At the counter: passenger documents first, then pet documents — health certificate, vaccination record, shipping permit, pet booking confirmation. The carrier is weighed with Cloud inside. Pet fee paid.
T-minus 2 hours
Security. Cloud is carried through the walk-through scanner in her owner's arms with a slip lead attached while the empty carrier goes through the X-ray.
T-minus 1 hour
A quiet corner near the gate, away from the boarding queue. Carrier on the floor, partially covered, water offered through the mesh.
Boarding
Pre-boarding requested. Carrier slides under the seat in front. Doors close. Cloud sleeps.
